Dr Cortelli is very excited to have Dr. Rachel Marks onboard as part of his team. She is amazing with all the patients and while  Dr. Cortelli is so busy with Cataract surger, Dr. Marks continues to take on his patients for routine eye care along with his diabetic and glaucoma care in his office.

Rachel Marks, O.D. is a primary care optometrist specializing in comprehensive eye care and ocular disease management including dry eye disease, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, as well as pre and post-operative eye care.

Dr. Marks was born and raised in Tampa, FL. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition at The University of Florida. She went on to receive her doctoral degree at SUNY College of Optometry in Manhattan. Dr. Marks completed a one-year residency at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University with an emphasis in primary care and ocular disease. During her residency training, she actively managed the emergency eye-care clinic triaging and treating true ocular emergencies. She also enjoys providing comprehensive eye care, including primary eye care for adults and children and assessing contact lenses.
